Now Playing - Newsies - Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is thrilled to bring its audiences the exciting musical that took Broadway by storm, Disney’s Newsies! With astounding choreography, unforgettable songs and inspirational storytelling, Newsies is a not-to-be-missed, high-energy show for all ages.  Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, Jack Kelly hawks the headlines day-in and day-out with countless other newsboys trying to save enough to make his dreams a reality.  New York World publisher, Joseph Pulitzer, realizes he can maximize profits by raising the price of the “papes” and does so without a word to the “Newsies.” Upon seeing Pulitzer’s greed, the newsboys protest and declare a strike against all the publishing giants.  Realizing it will take more than his friends to make a difference, Jack rallies all the “Newsies” in New York City. Through courage, determination, and friendship the “Newsies” are ready to seize the day and take a stand.  Coupled with dazzling choreography, the unforgettable songs are from Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas), and include: “Carrying the Banner,” “King of New York,” “Santa Fe” and “Seize the Day.”  Don’t miss this ultimate crowd-pleaser, a Minnesota Regional Premiere, nominated for 8 Tony Awards – Including Best Musical!  Running March 2 through September 29, 2018.  Click Here for tickets or call the box office at 952-934-1525.

April 27, 2018 - Comedy at the Courtyards with John DeBoer - Food, fun and laughs galore as the Courtyards of Andover hosts some of the funniest comedians around. Tickets go fast so you will want make this happen and get your tickets today. Your ticket includes an all you can eat dinner buffet and all the laughs you can handle.  18+ Only please, adult content should be expected.  Call For Tickets (763) 754-6953.  This week check out John DeBoer.  It has been said, there are only two ways you can go in life after making a mistake. Learn from it and move on or don’t learn from it and stay where you are. John DeBoer has chosen a third route: Write a joke about it and share it with the masses. His nerve-hitting show flows from the devious side of childhood to the never-ending pressures of our times.  His twisted observations of life, the world around him, and particularly how he has managed to screw it up, have earned John a reputation as one of the most consistently strong acts wherever he goes.  Watching John on stage takes the audience on a roller coaster of seeing their own blunders or faux pas’, and then being compelled to laugh at them. Falling somewhere between “The Next John DeBoer of Comedy”, and “the best you can do on short notice”, he takes us on a ride we’ve all been on, yet somehow failed to see the humor in the first time through.  Call For Tickets (763) 754-6953. Doors open at 6:00pm, food available until 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm.  Show Only tickets also available.
