Friday Nights thru – February 2018 – The Mystery Café presents “Mobster’s Inc.” - The year is 1931. Mob boss Tony Baccardi has just opened his new speakeasy. The joint may be jumping, but rival gangs and missing money could put him under…six feet under.  Former detective Roland Boil comes out of retirement for one last case; but out-foxing these dim-witted wiseguys may be tougher than he thinks!  Taken from the Mystery Café vaults, “Mobsters Inc” is a hilarious send-up of the hard-boiled detective genre. This is one of our favorite shows, and we’re excited to bring it back for a limited run.  Mystery Café dishes out a hilarious comedy caper, in which you and your table are invited to solve the crime…all while enjoying a delicious 3-course meal.   For Tickets Call 763-755-2140 or online at www.majesticoaksgolfclub.com.

But at the height of the Jim Crow era, victory for a black man over a white man posed untold dangers and Jay quickly finds himself fighting for more than just a title. Written by award-winning American writer Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy, Orange is the New Black), Yellow Tree is thrilled to host the regional premiere of this extraordinary new play!  Running February 2nd through March 4th Click Here for tickets or call our box office at 763-493-8733.

With astounding choreography, unforgettable songs and inspirational storytelling, Newsies is a not-to-be-missed, high-energy show for all ages.  Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, Jack Kelly hawks the headlines day-in and day-out with countless other newsboys trying to save enough to make his dreams a reality.  New York World publisher, Joseph Pulitzer, realizes he can maximize profits by raising the price of the “papes” and does so without a word to the “Newsies.” Upon seeing Pulitzer’s greed, the newsboys protest and declare a strike against all the publishing giants.  Realizing it will take more than his friends to make a difference, Jack rallies all the “Newsies” in New York City. Through courage, determination, and friendship the “Newsies” are ready to seize the day and take a stand.  Coupled with dazzling choreography, the unforgettable songs are from Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas), and include: “Carrying the Banner,” “King of New York,” “Santa Fe” and “Seize the Day.”  Don’t miss this ultimate crowd-pleaser, a Minnesota Regional Premiere, nominated for 8 Tony Awards – Including Best Musical!  Running March 2 through September 29, 2018.  Click Here for tickets or call the box office at 952-934-1525.
